Many applications use AI to enhance language and create easy-to-understand descriptions for the layperson.
Currently, many service Advisors (SA) use AI chatbots to create descriptions in DVI results, estimates, and invoices that make the work (to be) approved easy for their customers to understand.
AutoTechIQ has been helping auto repair shops use the most effective DVI process to empower motorists to make the right decisions for their vehicles and not feel pressured to buy. A critical part of this empowerment is creating DVI results where the images are self-explanatory and don't require an explanation by the SA on the phone with the customer.
Streamlining this process at the next level is TechAidIQ.
TechAidIQ takes the tech's image of the problem area, adds customer-friendly language, and adds arrows, circles, and/or other indicators to highlight the problem area to the motorist.
In addition, TechAidIQ creates easy-to-understand answers to the following questions customers typically ask before they make the approval decision. We call them the 5 Ws.
1. What is the problem?
2. Why should the work be approved and
3. What happens if it is not approved?
4. What safety impact does the problem component have?
5. What cost can I save when I approve now and not wait until worse things happen?
The examples below show:
In both cases, the tech used one of the two DVI tools that are supported in TechAidIQ V1.0.
1. AutoVitals
2. Tekmetric
and determined the status (i.e., red, yellow, green), added some notes, and took the picture. TechAidIQ added captions, arrows, and circles in the status color (red or yellow) and made the responses to the 5Ws available to the SA to be copied into the notes fields of the DVI tool of their choice.
If you would like to participate in the TechAidIQ pilot project and use one of the three DVI tools mentioned above, please click here to schedule a meeting with our CEO, Uwe, to be added to the project.
