What is the AutoTechIQ DNA Screening?
The AutoTechIQ DNA Screening analyzes Millions of Repair Orders provided by Independent Auto Repair Shops in the US and Canada. The result is a list of the typical repairs the different vehicle makes (e.g., Ford, GMC, BMW etc.) require during their lifecycle. Depending on the mileage range these typical repairs might be exactly the ones you are facing and if not detected turn into more costly repairs. If you download the screening test for you vehicle, it will also add typical vehicle inspection images (DVI) indicating the need for the repair. Thus you can go to your trusted shop and have them compare the screening test with the DVI result. Typically these DVIs are performed free of charge.
How accurate are the typical repairs by mileage?
The accuracy depends on many factors, especially how well your vehicle has been taken care of. In order to take individual conditions into account, the screening test provides mileage ranges with +/- 10,000 miles accuracy.
How will I receive the screening result?
You can download the screening result as PDF, print it out and either archive it or bring it to your trusted shop. We recommend to connect with your trusted shop digitally so we can inform your shop about your request to determine your actual vehicle health score.
What happens after I connected to my trusted shop?
Your shop will give us access to your service history so we can determine what repairs have already been performed and are of no concern at the moment. The result wil be a Vehicle Health Score you can use to decide when to schedule the next appointment with your trusted shop.
