A bad alternator can take a toll on your vehicle’s electrical system, affecting the dashboard, lights, multimedia, AC, etc. This is because the alternator is one of the "pulsing hearts" of your vehicle's electrical and charging systems, acting as a power supply to many components. 1. Dim or Flickering Headlights
A failing alternator struggles to provide consistent electrical power, causing headlights to dim or flicker.
The vehicle’s dashboard illuminates the battery icon when the alternator fails to charge the battery adequately.
A bad alternator fails to recharge the battery, eventually leaving it drained and unable to start the car.
